Working Toward a Better Tomorrow

Established in 2014, Universal Kitchen emerged out of the desire to inspire and create an action-oriented impact in the community. We're an organization driven by compassion and a strong foundation of service. 

Today, the Washington, DC region deals with the challenges of over 6,500 persons experiencing homelessness in the District, including 608 unsheltered persons, 4,679 in emergency shelters, and 1,234 in transitional housing programs.
